距今五千年前后文化迁徙现象初探

摘      要：The late Yangshao Age going back to round 5000BP was a turbulent epoch when, at the social level,elements of civilization rose one after another from archaeological cultures and,at the cultural level,archaeological cultures came into large-scale *** on an all-round gathering of related data,the present paper makes an exhaustive exposition and study of the migration brought about among the archaeological cultures in prehistoric China. The cultural migration under discussion shows three distinct characteristic ***,it involved vast regions from the upper Yellow River valley in the west to the seashore in the east and from the northern foot of the Yanshan Mountains in the north to the coastal areas in the ***,it lasted for a log period of time,going through the whole late Yangshao ***,it covered numerous cultures,including all the archaeological cultures in the Yellow River and Yangtze River *** were three forms of cultural *** first is a chain pattern,by which the Dawenkou culture moved in advance and the others followed it *** second is a radiating pattern as exampled by the Quanhucun II culture’s migrating in all *** third is a directional pattern represented by the Majiayao culture’s moving in one *** the cause of the cultural migration,the author points out three factors that led the then cultures into *** first is the environmental *** 6.0—5kaBP was a restlessly moving period with a violently fluctuating climate,when the people living in the original environment suddenly felt uneasy and strove to seek new survival *** second is the cultural *** example,the disintegration of the Xiyin culture provided space of development for later rising archaeological cultures to migrate *** third is the social factor as shown in the instance of weaker ethnic groups being forced to migrate outward under pressure from stronger ones.
