摘 要:Can you image a wearable wrist detector for cancer diag- nosis? Recently, Google, keen on the improvement in healthcare recourses, issued its ambitious plan to develop the nanotechnology-based cancer diagnosis devices, which has attracted intensive attention and discussion. They announced to produce intelligent magnetic nanoparticles that circulated through the blood to detect and report the signs of cancer via a magnet held near superficial blood vessels on the wrist. This idea of nanoparticle-based pas- sive or active cancer targeting is not fresh; however, the impetus from bench to bed issued by Google sounds encouraging. Maybe there is a long way for Google to FDA approval and clinical application, nanotechnology, with increasing development especially in the recent years, may revitalize the current diagnostic devices.
