摘      要：The worldwide prevalence of spinal cord injury （SCI） ranges from 233 to 755 per million inhabitants, whereas the report- ed incidence lies between 10.4 and 83 per million inhabitants annually （Wyndaele and Wyndaele, 2006）. Thus, the socio- economic impact of SCI associated with cervical trauma is high enough that it could become an important concern in the vast majority of developed countries.
