基  金:Dr. Shib Sankar Ganguli is a Scientist at the CSIR-National Geophysical Research Institute  India. He did Master\u2019s degree in Applied Geophysics (2011) from Indian School of Mines (Now IIT (ISM) Dhanbad) PhD (2016) from the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research  India. Prior to joining CSIR as a Scientist  he served as Inspire Faculty at IIT Kanpur after receiving the highly competitive DST Inspire Faculty Award from the Government of India. He also worked as a visiting scientist at SINTEF Petroleum Research  Norway. He is a recipient of the NASI Platinum Jubilee Young Scientist Medal 2020 from the National Academy of Sciences (NASI)  the Young Scientist Award (in the category of National Geoscience Awards) from the Ministry of Mines (Govt. of India)  Young Scientist Award 2019 from Telangana Academy of Sciences and the Springer Outstanding Thesis Prize-2017. His research interests are not limited to but include geophysical modeling and inversion  reservoir characterization  seismic  quantitative reservoir rock properties  application of machine learning (AI/ML) techniques in reservoir studies  etc. He has co-authored more than 30 papers in the leading international journals with quite a substantial amount of time as Lead author  1 book published by Springer International  and another book with Elsevier to be published in Oct 2023

摘      要:Reservoir characterization refers to the process of creating a comprehensive model that characterizes the reservoir based on its ability to store and produce *** includes analyzing reservoir fluid behavior under various conditions and identifying optimal production techniques to maximize hydrocarbon *** this,a holistic understanding is required that integrates data from geophysics,geostatistics,petrophysics,geology,and reservoir engineering.
