摘 要:Emerging epidemiological findings indicate a rising incidence of primary liver cancer, now a foremost contributor to cancer-related mortalities worldwide[1].Several factors play a pivotal role in liver cancer etiology, including infections from the Hepatitis B/C virus,a spectrum of liver diseases like alcoholic and nonalcoholic fatty liver diseases(NAFLD,ASH,and NASH),metabolic aberrations(e.g.,obesity,diabetes),exposure to hepatocarcinogens(e.g.,aflatoxin,aristolochic acid, and iron overload),and disruptions in gut *** liver diseases, encompassing conditions such as NAFLD and NASH,represent hepatic expressions of metabolic syndrome and bear the potential to culminate in liver cancer.
