摘      要：Brazilian president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva’s visit to China in April 2023 was an opportunity to elevate health cooperation between the two countries to scientific and technological cooperation standards,exemplified by the China-Brazil Earth Resources Satellite(CBERS).The satellite programme can be traced back to the Basic Agreement on Scientific and Technological Cooperation signed by the two nations in 1982(https://***/ccivil03/decreto/1990-1994/***).This framework serves as a reference for health cooperation between Chinese science and health institutions and the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation(Fiocruz),the Brazilian Minister of Health’s core industrial and research facility.
