摘 要:Microglia,the innate immune cells of the central nervous system(CNS),account for~10%of the total population in the CNS.They are one of the key regulators of the CNS under normal and pathological conditions,coordinating immune responses,and dynamically shaping neural circuits[1].Human genetic studies have found that most risk genes for neurodegenerative diseases,including Alzheimer s disease and Parkinson s disease,are specifically and strongly expressed in microglia[2].Given the vital role microglia play in the development of neurodegeneration,effective measures to label and manipulate them have become critical for the research community.
