基 金:Prof. Feng-Shou Xiao received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in the Department of Chemistry Jilin University China. From there he moved to the Catalysis Research Center Hokkaido University Japan where he was involved in collaborative research between Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics & Jilin University China with Hokkaido University Japan. He was a Ph.D. student there for two years and was awarded his Ph.D. degree at Jilin University in 1990. After postdoctoral work at the University of California at Davis USA he joined the faculty at Jilin University in 1994 where he became a full and distinguished professor of Chemistry. Since the end of 2009 Dr. Xiao as a distinguished professor has moved to Department of Chemistry Zhejiang University. Currently he is the secretary of Asia-Pacific Association of Catalysis Societies. For his research in zeolites mesoporous materials and catalysis Prof. Xiao has been rewarded with the National Outstanding Award of Young Scientists in National Science Foundation of China in 1998 and Thomson Scientific Research Fronts Award in 2008
摘 要:We are now facing the emerging problems of how to use the oil, natural gas and coal-based existing energy in a more efficient way and how to develop new energy sources including solar and bio-energy under the resourcediminishing *** the meantime, environmental protection is a key to the sustainable development of the ***,zeolites with stable, uniform and intricate micropores as well as good shape selectivity are regarded as one of the most important heterogeneous catalysts for solving problems of the energy and the *** this field, Chinese scientists have made considerable contributions such as synthesis of extra-large microporous JDF-20,industrial application of SAPO-34 catalysts in methanol-to-olefin (MTO),organotemplate-free synthesis of ZSM-5 and Beta, industrial application of titanosilicate zeolite catalysts in hydrocarbon oxidations, creation of a series of ordered mesoporous materials, and preparation of hierarchically mesoporous *** is really cheerful to have witnessed the exciting and rapid growth in this field made by the Chinese ***,we are pleased to invite a number of them to present their excellent work and to share their viewpoints on the development of zeolite research in this special issue of Chinese Journal of *** are also very glad to have a number of well-known scientists from both academic and industrial institutions outside of China to showcase their leading work in this special issue.
