摘      要：This article examines the representation of the Zimbabwean economic crisis by The Sunday Times, The Sunday Independent and The Mail ＆ Guardian. The article uses critical political-economy theories of the media in the context of cultural studies, theories of news production, and discourse analysis to inspect how the South African press represented the economic situation.
