摘 要:The sensitivity of an impedance imaging system to small cylindrical inhomogeneities (targets) placed in both a 2-D and a 3-D saline tank was studied. Target material. Target location, cross section area of a target, electrode size and the number of targot in the region for producing image are main factors to effect changes in the sensitivity of the system. The system was less sensitive to inhomogeneities in a 3-D tank than to those in the 2-D tank.
