摘      要：Hypertension,the leading cause of cardiovascular disease,kills 10.7 million people worldwide each year—more than any other cause,and more than all infectious diseases combined(1).Approximately one third of adults globally have elevated blood pressure;of these approximately 1.4 billion people,only 1 in 7 with hypertension are effectively treated so that their blood pressure is reduced to below 140/90(2).
