摘      要：The 2013 Kyoto Regional Conference （KRC） of the International Geographical Union （IGU） was held on August 5-9 at Kyoto International Conference Center, Japan. The total number of par- ticipated geographers was approximately 1400 from more than 60 countries, including approxi- mately 600 participants from Japan. The conference was co-organized by IGU, the National Committee of Japan for IGU, the Association of Japanese Geographers and the Science Council of Japan.
