摘 要：Fluorine-18-fluoro-2-deoxy-D-glucose positron emission tomography （18F-FDG PET） can be used to assess the severity of brain injury and prognosis in children with epileptic encephalopathy. These images are the 18F-FDG PET images from a 7.3-year-old girl with Lennox-Gastaut syndrome, indicating that the ventricular system is significantly expanded, and cortical atrophy is present, accompanied with diffuse symmetrical glucose hypometabolism, and hydrocephalus and severe brain parenchyma impairment.
