摘      要:A novel method to analyze the damping effect of the VSC based FACTS(VBF) device is proposed,which is developed on the basis of the well-known equalarea criterion and small-disturbance analysis of power system *** use of the proposed method,two conclusions are obtained for study of the damping effect of the *** research results clearly show the contribution of the VBF control to the damping of power system *** results of an example power system are used to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.
