A multi-scale palm print classification method based on FRIT (finite ridgelet transform) and LS- SVM (least square support vector machine) was proposed. The multi-scale feature extraction of FRIT was utilized to extract the palmprint feature, and then the LS-SVM was combined with identify palm types. Firstly, palmprint image with preprocessing was decomposed into some ridgelet coefficients in different scales and various angels by FRIT. The important linear feature of palmprint was included in the low frequency coefficients of FRIT decomposition coefficients. Then the decomposition coefficients were transformed into feature vectors. Finally, the eigenvectors were input into LS-SVM classifier for palmprint type classification. The experiments were performed in PolyU palmprint database. Experiment results show that this proposed method not only can effectively extract fault features, but also has shorter classification time compared with SVM network.

This paper investigates the directions of arrival (DOA) estimation problem of multiple speech sources by using two microphones, which has promising applications for auditory scene analysis (ASA) in intelligent service robots. In this paper, we study the DOA estimation based on the inter-channel phase difference (IPD) versus signal frequency framework (IPD-frequency plot). A novel DOA estimation approach has been developed in frequency domain by extracting the high local SNR frequency information aiming to improve the DOA estimation accuracy and the robustness to the noise. The high local SNR frequency information is extracted effectively by exploring the harmonic structure of speech sources in cepstrum domain. The time delay is estimated from the IPD-frequency plot using clustering methods. Experimental results show that the proposed multi-source cepstrum-based DOA estimation algorithm is robust to the additive Gaussian noise, has less complexity and higher DOA estimation accuracy (especially under low SNR condition) compared to those of sinusoidal modeling based DOA estimation method.

According to the characteristics of spatial data in Geographic information System for power, compared to the traditional spatial data models, introducing the relationship to the construction of the object model, the paper proposes a new object-relational model,discusses the cognitive process and structure of spatial data model of power, and illustrates the construction of the model and the methods to organize, manage, and query spatial data based on the model. And proves the model is feasible, it can represent the topology of power network better, simplify the management operation, and improve the stability and sharing of spatial data.

In this paper, a design and implementation of a lookup table are proposed, which facilitate the multicast supporting in Network-on-Chip (NoC). Our lookup table allows setting or clearing some bit in a table entry, clearing table entry and reading the content from the table. Base on this, our scheme could setup any-shaped multicast path by combining the sub-path incrementally.

In multi-hop wireless sensor networks, the sensors closest to the sink tend to deplete their energy faster than other sensors, which is known as energy-hole problem. To balance energy dissipation, we first investigate the location of the static sink in terms of energy efficiency. We study the mobile sink model, and conclude the best mobility strategy. We then consider jointly sink mobility and hybrid communication, and propose a hybrid communication model based on taking both static sink and mobile sink into account. We finally conduct extensive experiments and find that the number of alive sensors can be increased significantly as compared to not only the static sink but also the mobile sink.

An efficient method of adult image based on wavelet transform incorporating with Support Vector Machine (SVM) is proposed. Firstly, an image template matching is used to coarse filter for locating and speeding up, then a Haar wavelet transform of template matching constrained subspace is performed to decrease the dimension and extract feature for SVM classify according to the eigenvector trained and built by given samples. The test results show that the system not only achieves high detection rate, but also reduces the computational complexity, has practice ability to be applied in embedded platform.

＜正＞Scale-Invariant Feature Transform（SIFT） is the most common feature detection and matching algorithm in binocular images for robotic Simultaneous Localization and Mapping（SLAM）.This paper develops a SIFT-based robotic stereo visual ***,this paper proposes a local segmentation method to increase a substantial number of feasible features,and adopts maximum-uncertainty comparability measurement to reduce the significant computation time of searching candidate matching *** results indicate the proposed methods can improve original SIFT-based robotic stereo visual navigation by over 400%increment of feature amount,at the cost of 200%increment of computation time.

Full disk encryption is a good choice to solve the problem of information leakage. In this paper, a full disk encryption based on virtual machine is proposed for computers without TPM. The program to decrypt the operating system is stored in a USB device which is more secure than in hard disk together with confidential information. A smartcard is used for enhancing security and the key recovery scheme. The experiments, security analysis and comparison demonstrate the efficiency, security and advantage of the proposed scheme.

The 3d vibration parameter images were obtained from rotor’s normal state,fault of unbalance,misalignment,steam exciting vibration and bearing pedestal looseness which were examined on the modeling of 600 MW turbine rotor experimental *** 3d images of different faults were pretreated and transformed to 2d gray-scale *** enhancement processing method was adopted to enhance available information of parameter images based on the theory of Top-Hat transformation and Bottom-Hat *** results show that this method can effectively filter out the noise of parameter image and obtain high-quality edge features from the fault image.
